Henning Lierow – artistic objects
 
For almost his entire life, Henning Lierow has had a strong affinity for plastic and concrete art, which he wants to express.
 
After several different creative periods, Henning Lierow's most recent works can be located in the field of concrete art.

The language of form, mastery of craftsmanship and technique are the heart of his artistic work. His approach comes from the environment of his former working world as a mechanical engineer, constructor and designer. Recently he has developed fragile, transparent spatial bodies, which are usually preceded by a lengthy development process.
 
His sculptural works require precise planning, which is very time-consuming. The works are characterized by the combination of mathematical-exact thought processes with geometric elements and the exploration of the physical laws of the material.
This is followed by detailed execution in absolute perfection, whereby small breaks can certainly increase the tension and indicate the craftsmanship.
 
Henning Lierow's preferred material is metal, which can also be combined with stone or paper.
 
Born in Pinneberg/Schleswig-Holstein in 1956, Henning Lierow now lives and works near Frankfurt am Main.
